Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love what you wear! If something doesn’t feel right, here’s what you need to know:

Eligible for Return or Exchange: .

  • Returns are only accepted in case of defects or damage.
  • Approved returns will be issued as a Hastakala Gift Card / Store Credit of the same value as saree.
  • Store Credit coupons are valid for one-time use only. Any unused balance remaining after redemption will not be carried forward, refunded, or reissued. Customers are advised to shop for the same or a higher amount than the coupon value to ensure the full benefit of the store credit is utilized.
  • Store credit can be used across any future purchase at Hastakala website only.
  • An exchange request must be submitted within 7 days from the date of delivery.
  • After 7 days, we will not be able to accept return or exchange requests.
  • Store credit or gift card will be issued only after we receive and inspect the saree to ensure there is no damage.

  • We offer free return shipping for eligible returns.

 Not Eligible for Return:

  • Used or worn items
  • Altered or customised products (e.g., stitched blouses, sarees with stitched fall)

Delivery Failure / Customer Error:

  • If an order cannot be delivered due to customer-related errors (such as incorrect phone number, incomplete or incorrect address, or customer unavailability at the time of delivery), the order will be treated as a return.
  • In such cases, store credit will be issued after deducting ₹250 towards return shipping charges.

Refund Policy:

  • Refund is only applicable on products that have arrived in damaged condition.
  • In order to claim a refund it is mandatory to submit a video of the original packaging of the product being opened. The shipping label must clearly be visible in the video.
  • All approved returns for refund will be processed as store credit, gift card, or cash, based on customer preference.
  • Store credit / gift card can be used on future purchases at your convenience.
  • Refund will be issued only after the returned saree is received and passes quality inspection.
